Stockpile gift cards. Stockpile gift cards are issued by Stockpile Gifts, Inc. A Stockpile gift card has a fixed value and is redeemable for stock or cryptocurrency. It is not a stock, security, or cryptocurrency, or a recommendation to buy any specific stock, security, or cryptocurrency. If you redeem a Stockpile gift card for a security or cryptocurrency, you will receive fractional shares or quantities of cryptocurrencies whose value will go up and down with time. If you do not have a Stockpile Investments brokerage account, you must apply and be approved for one. Until then, you will not be a customer of Stockpile Investments and we will not transfer your gift card value to our clearing firm to purchase stock or cryptocurrency for your benefit. You must be a U.S. resident to open a brokerage account or redeem a Stockpile gift card for a security or cryptocurrency, but you need not be a U.S. resident to purchase a Stockpile gift card. If you are under 18, you will need to open your account with an adult. Unredeemed Stockpile gift cards are not securities nor cryptocurrencies. They are held in your prepaid account at Stockpile Gifts.
Fractional share market-on-close orders. All securities are offered to self-directed investors by Stockpile Investments, Inc., registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. Stockpile Investments aggregates customer orders and submits trades for execution by our clearing firm at pre-set times. Therefore, the price you receive may differ from the market price at the time your order was placed. Securities purchases may include fractional shares. Fractional share orders placed by 3 pm ET on the day the stock market is open execute that day using the closing market price.
Crypto Orders and Execution. Crypto trading has no cutoff time but is subject to a maintenance window from 5:30 pm to 6:10 pm ET. Crypto trades are executed in real time. Cryptocurrency execution and custody services are provided by Apex Crypto LLC (NMLS ID 1828849) through a software licensing agreement between Apex Crypto LLC and Stockpile Crypto, LLC. Cryptocurrency trading is offered through an account with Apex Crypto. Apex Crypto is not a registered broker-dealer or FINRA member and is not affiliated with Stockpile Inc. or any of its affiliates. Your cryptocurrency holdings are not FDIC or SIPC insured. Crypto trading involves a substantial risk of loss as there is significant volatility in the price of cryptocurrencies.
Quotes and other content. Stock quotes are delayed at least 15 minutes, unless otherwise indicated. Stock quote market data is provided by Xignite. Apex Crypto provides quotes for crypto in real time. Other content on this website, including information correlating companies and their brands or other research, may be time sensitive or out of date and is for educational and informational purposes only.
